Road and street works are vital for maintaining London's infrastructure. People need to travel, but they also need the utility services buried beneath the roads and footways. But works cause obstructions, and obstructions cause disruption to traffic and consequent delays and inconvenience.

This site is support for the community of road and street work managers of London. It is here to help them with good management of works, and sensitivity in planning them, so that there is minimum disturbance to Londoners.
